Maha Devi Si Phosop

Maha Devi Si Phosop (มหาเทวีศรีโพสพ)

 

This is a provincial costume of Miss Grand Roi-Et during her participation in Miss Grand Thailand 2020 National Costume Competition on September 16th, 2020.

 

The costume is inspired by Phra Mae Phosop (พระแม่โพสพ); the goddess of rice who is worshiped by farmers of Thung Kula Ronghai (ทุ่งกุลาร้องไห้). Thung Kula Ronghai is located in Roi-Et province and it is well known as a place to grow Thailand's famous rice 'Hom Mali'.
