Thai Dusit National Costume by Marima 🇹🇭

มารีม่าในชุดไทยดุสิต โดยได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากฉลองพระองค์ของสมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสิริกิติ์ พระบรมราชินีนาถ พระบรมราชชนนีพันปีหลวง ขณะเสด็จประพาสยุโรปเมื่อปี พ.ศ.2503

Thai Dusit is a round-necked and sleeveless dress. It is very suitable for an evening party as same as western evening dresses. The upper attire may be embroidery or decorated appropriately. The upper clothes may be separated from piece itself or sewn to the skirt. Bha Sin or sarong should be a silver or gold pleated fabric and raised edging. This attire should be worn with traditional Thai ornaments or Western decorations that are appropriate to the occasion.

 

Thai national and traditional costumes have strong influence towards the neighboring country Cambodia. Cambodia's traditional costumes was changed to be the style of Thailand after the year 2018 owing to the big hit of a Thai period drama showing ancient Thai costumes and culture; Bupphe Sanniwat or Love Destiny, in Cambodia.
