Thai Golden Desserts :

 

1. Thong Yip (ทองหยิบ)

2. Thong Yod (ทองหยอด)

3. Foi Thong (ฝอยทอง)

 

Adapted from the Portuguese desserts introduced by Marie Guimar; a Japanese-Portuguese lady who lived in Siam during Ayutthaya period, these Thai desserts have different appearance but they share same ingredients and methods which are mixed egg yolks and flour boiled in the syrup.

 

Thai golden desserts are also very popular in Cambodia just like other Thai traditions and culture being adopted by the Cambodians.
